Dr. Hansdottir's clinical interests include pulmonary hypertension and general pulmonary medicine. Her translational research focuses on treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension and the use imaging modalities to evaluate pulmonary arterial blood flow. Dr. Hansdottir's basic studies include examination of the role of vitamin D in innate immunity with emphasis on respiratory viral infections.
