Anesthesia/ Airway Service
(2 Weeks during F 1 Year)

Goals:
- To become familiar with airway evaluation using standardized Anesthesia pre-operative criteria.
- Learn technique of rapid-sequence induction for urgent intubation.
- Familiarization with the drugs available to assist in patient preparation for airway manipulation.
- Become familiar with the tools and devices in common practice for airway management.

Evaluation:
Fellows are evaluated informally throughout the month by the staff attending, and they are formally evaluated at the end of each month by Dr. Hata and Dr. Gross.
