Pulmonary Procedure Service
(3 Months during the F 1 Year)
Faculty Responsible : Geoffrey McLennan, M.D. and faculty attending for the month
Goals:
- Gain experience with invasive pulmonary techniques including pleural biopsy, thoracentesis, closed tube thoracostomy, transthoracic needle biopsy, and bronchoscopy.
- Gain experience in outpatient evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients suspected of having lung cancer.

Multidisciplinary Lung Cancer Clinic
Evaluation:
Fellows are evaluated informally throughout the month by the staff attending, and they are evaluated formally at the end of each month by the attending staff.
