Coping with Special Concerns

We recognize that a stem cell transplant is an emotionally stressful experience and comes at a time when you may feel you have very little within yourself to deal with the additional stress. Yet we are continually amazed that most people have a great reservoir of strength which they are able to tap in order to cope. Our nurses, social worker, and medical staff are trained to help you cope with the special concerns of transplant patients. We encourage you to talk about your feelings.
