Providing You with Information
Facing a very serious and potentially life-threatening illness may create a great deal of stress and apprehension for you as well as your family and friends. Treatment for these illnesses, including stem cell transplantation, can also be a very stressful and frightening experience. Recognizing that the source of most fear is the unknown, our staff of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, therapists, and dietitians is dedicated to providing you with information necessary to help you understand all that is involved in stem cell transplantation.
Our commitment is to guide you and your family through hospitalization for a return to home and job. From you, we ask a commitment to participate in the development of a plan for your care and to carry out those plans. It is also important for you to provide us with continuous feedback on your physical and emotional well-being. Motivation and a positive attitude from you and our staff are important factors that help us all toward the mutual goal of a successful transplant.
