Members of our Adult B&MT team meet weekly to discuss each patient who is a candidate for a stem cell transplant. This is the pretransplant phase. During pretransplant, all team members are kept informed of each patient's current medical status, financial approval status, testing results of potential stem cell donors, workup of the stem cell donor, and planning for admission.
