Inpatient Services:
Solid Tumor Consultation Service

The Solid Tumor Consultation Service sees patients with cancer of solid organs, including tumors of lung, breast, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, kidney and other genitourinary sites, skin, head and neck, thymoma, thyroid, sarcoma, unknown primary, and other sites. In addition to outpatient consultations and referrals, this service evaluates inpatients hospitalized outside the Clinical Cancer Center who develop relevant problems. The service comprises medical students, one or more resident physicians in Internal Medicine, a fellow associate undergoing subspecialty training in Hematology/Oncology, and a Hematology/Oncology staff physician.
