Hematology Consultation Service
The Hematology Consultation Service evaluates inpatients on services other than the Clinical Cancer Center who have hematologic problems. These include leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, hemophilia and other coagulation disorders, aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, multiple myeloma, macroglobulinemia, and other hematologic disorders. The service comprises medical students, one or more resident physicians in Internal Medicine, a fellow associate undergoing subspecialty training in Hematology/Oncology, and an Hematology/Oncology staff physician.
