Assistant Professor

The major focus of research in Dr. Chauhan laboratory is on the role of adhesion molecules in thrombosis and inflammation. Dr. Chauhan laboratory uses intra vital microscopy to study interaction of platelet and leukocyte with endothelium followed by stimulation/ injury. Most of work involves genetically modified mice combined with disease models such as atherosclerosis and ischemic stroke.
