William L. Iverson, M.D.

Dr. Iverson’s clinical and educational interests focus on Ambulatory Care and Communication for the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He serves as Clinic Director for the Iowa City VA Medical Center outpatient internal medicine clinics and helps to teach communication skills to medical students. He has helped to develop and implement a new communication model within the College, with plans for expansion to all four years of medical school and eventually, with success, to the residency program in internal medicine.
