William L. Iverson, M.D.
Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Iverson’s clinical and educational interests focus on ambulatory care and curriculum design for University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine first-year medical students. He serves as Clinic Director for the Iowa City VA Medical Center outpatient internal medicine clinics and directs Foundations of Clinical Practice (FCP), a five-hour College of Medicine course for first year medical students. He is in the process of developing and implementing a new communication model within FCP, with plans for expansion to all four years of medical school and eventually, with success, to the residency program in internal medicine.
