Interim Director and Co-Director, University of Iowa K12 Mentored Clinical Research Scholar Program

Dr. Hoffman's research interests include behavioral interventions to recognize, treat, and prevent obesity and eating disorders, the relationship between weight change and depression, telehealth interventions for weight management, psychological predicators of weight loss success, the epidemiology of eating and weight disorders, the impact of mental disorder comorbidity on health outcomes, disclosure of medical errors, and HIV screening and prevention.
