Thad Abrams, M.D., M.P.H.
Assistant Professor

Dr. Abrams guides the management of chronic medical and psychiatric comorbidity in the Iowa CityVA Health System and precepts general medicine residents and medical students on the recognition and treatment of common mental health conditions in a VA primary care population. Interests are on the recognition and subsequent care of PTSD, comorbid pain, substance abuse underpinning medical presentation.
