Dr. Kaboli's research interests include health services research, evaluation of medication appropriateness, prevention of adverse drug events, and venous thromboembolic disease. His current projects include:
- Prevention of adverse drug events in outpatient Veterans
- Multi-site Academic Hospitalist Study
- Detection of adverse drug events in inpatient elderly patients
- Severity-Adjusted ICU Mortality and Length of Stay
- Randomized-Controlled Trial of Extended DVT Prophylaxis in Medically Ill Patients
