Dr. Silverman is interested in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pancreatitis as well as biliary obstruction. He has participated in multicenter studies addressing diagnosis and therapeutic problems in pancreatitis. He is especially interested in the use of endoscopic stents for pancreatic and biliary disorders.
