Kenneth A. Hubel, M.D.
Professor Emeritus

Dr. Hubel has a long and well-established international reputation in the general area of gastrointestinal mucosal transport. In recent years, his work has focused upon the physiology of neural and humoral regulation of intestinal mucosa transport.

He is particularly interested in autonomic neural control of intestinal transport; ion transport in the alimentary canal; central nervous system control of alimentary tract functions.
