Anne E. Kwitek, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Dr. Kwitek’s research interest focuses on the genetics of complex disease, common diseases with both genetic and environmental factors. She uses physiological and comparative genomics approaches to identify genes and mechanisms leading to complex disease - hypertension, diabetes and obesity in particular - using both animal models and human populations.
