Bill Radl
Program Associate

Bill joined the department in 1979 to coordinate continuing medical education (CME) programs for the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. His responsibilities expanded to include all department CME and broadened further when he became involved in the production of the department magazine, Colleague, and the department annual report. His writing and communication assignments include fundraising letters and brochures (coordinated with UI Foundation staff), a variety of internal announcements, and projects as assigned by the chair and department administrator.

He currently assists the department’s physician director of CME; provides liaison with industry representatives and assists the department vice chair in processing and adjudicating industry/faculty consulting contracts; and coordinates announcements from the chair. He works closely with the UI Health Care Marketing and Communications office (MARCOM) and with the collegiate CME Division.
